Who is behind Nordic Sauna Stories?
Born and raised in Dalarna, with roots in Tornedalen, where Finnish and Sami cultures are close neighbors. Sauna bathing has always been a natural part of my life, but it took me many years to realize that it was not so for everyone.
In my previous professions, I have encountered people in crisis situations. Through sauna, I have found recovery and solace in the warmth—and a spark has also been ignited within me to spread this wonderful sauna culture, which can foster a lovely community in a society where loneliness has become a widespread issue.
Humans are a part of nature, but we're growing increasingly distant from it. Nordic Sauna Stories is my path towards change, and perhaps I can inspire you as well!
